We are not coming here for joking, we want life

The respondent is a 16-year-old boy from Afghanistan. He was pushed back on the 14th of June 2022 at 3 AM from Hungary to Serbia. He was pushed back with eight other Afghan people on the move, aged from 11 to 22.
The respondent states that after five hours walking in Hungary, the group was apprehended by five Hungarian police officers driving a blue car. According to the respondent, the nine of them were beaten with kicks, punches and batons. The respondent got a very swollen jaw, and the doctors that visited him afterwards were suspecting a fracture. The respondent also recalls that the police officers broke their phones. They did not ask for personal information, but only for their country of origin and no pictures were taken. None of the people on the move expressed the will to ask for asylum. The respondent reports that, after they were beaten, they were loaded into a van, taken to the border crossing point of Kelebia and pushed back from there. “We are not coming here for joking, we want life”.
