Forced to walk back to Bosnia for 7 hours without shoes

The respondent is one of a group of 4 men (1 Algerian, 3 Moroccan) who reportedly took a taxi from Bihac to the border at night on the 30th July, 2025. The respondent described that they walked for 1 day across the border and were stopped by the police at the Jezera bus stop in Croatia.

They were taken by 4 police officers (wearing blue, croatian flag on sleeve, carrying pistols) into a big white Mercedes van (“police” written on the side). They were driven near the border (around 1 km away), let out of the car and hit with batons on the back and hands. There was a police dog that attacked one man. Their shoes were taken, as well as 200 euros, and their phones were broken.
