From Croatia to Bosnia,

9 people (7 from Afghanistan, and 2 from Congo) started walking from Bihac on tuesday 22/7/25 at 9 p.m. in the night. One of the respndents described that they arrived in croatia in the night and took a bus in the direction of Zagreb at 10 a.m. on wednesday morning. After riding the bus for 20 minutes, and after stopping at two bus, the respondnet described that there was police waiting at the third bus stop. These officers asked for the passports of the group.

Two police officers with blue uniforms (1 male, 1 female) checked the passport of the people. They arrived with a white and blue car. The respondent described that after a few minutes a second car arrived. It was a white minivan with two people wearing green uniforms. The officials with the green uniforms forced the group in the back of the minivan. Since the sun was shining, the group asked the officials to leave the door of the van open. The respondent described that the officials laughed and smashed the door, and described that inside the van it was very hot. After driving 20 minutes with the minivan the car stopped in front of a river. The officials forced the group out of the van and took phones from 8 of them. One person managed to hide their phone from the officials. They took 600 Euro and shoes of the group. The officials hit some people of the group with their hands in the face. They hit them with baton on the back. After the officials took the valuables from the group they forced them into the river. The group said that they can not go in the river, because they did not know how deep it was. One of the officials shot in the air to force them through the river.
The group walked along the road back to Bihac. They had to walk 30 km to reach the city. They received support with food from some bosnian locals.
