“They were pushing me around and harrassing me inside the police station”

The respondent is a Somalian person who was travelling together with a person from Afghanistan. They are both about 30 years old. When they arrived at the train station in Menton they were struggling with the ticket machine and asked a person for help (in English) who called the police upon them. The two people travelling together were arrested in the train station and brought to the border police post in Menton.

On the way to the border police post in Menton, the Somalian person was pushed around by policemen. “They have been harrassing me. It was a very strong initimidation. Taking me by the arm and pushing me really hard so I would almost stumble and fall. Then they were also laughing at me and talking to me like a child.”
The two people were pushed back to Italy a.i. released at the border police post and told to walk up the steep road in the direction of Italy.
